ÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖ UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!!: Ahem, let me clear my throat! I will be on an album by Robinson Strickland to be released this upcoming Autumn 2008. Incredible blend of rock, blues, country, rockabilly. Robinson sings, plays guitar, and the pedal steel. The sound of the pedal steel is very inspiring and emotion filled. His brother Britt is on 7 and 4 string bass and that 7 string has got an astounding earthy funk sound. SO like I'm playin the freakin' kazoo right, right?!?! I play drumkit and percussion of course. I will post all details in late summer. About 80% jazz these days...but I am into and have played a vast amount of different musics and really enjoy playing rock, funk, hip-hop, pop,New Orleans,Latin, and a plethora of different styles from Africa and get a chance to do these fairly often (the 20%). It’s my passion AND my career and I love it! I'm doin' it to death brothers and sisters! I have mainly been involved with live performance, my forte, over leading groups or recording but I have had significant experience in both of these latter areas as well. This will change in the very near future with more recordings and the leadership of my own group on the horizon. Harmony has been my passion lately; thankfully you’re not in my shower though for it might only sound good to me. I sing harmonies along to music, I hear and record the results, smile or turn green, repeat. I love soccer and have a huge passion for the German National League THE BUNDESLIGA (boon-dus-league-a) and the German National Team who I saw last summer for the World Cup Germany 2006 ! I also love radio! I have been a DJ for many moons: Five and a half years with NPR affiliate WHQR-Wilmington 91.3FM, Five and a half years with WQFS-Greensboro 90.9FM, and two years with WUAG Greensboro 103.1 FM.
