OK, the following description is a bit overzealous, but hey, it's how I was feeling... *** I'm a dichotomy of light & dark. Chained & liberated. Brazen and shy. Private & outspoken. I believe in the spiritual world and the sensual. I believe in the power to change for the better if you put your mind to it. I believe in the transformational power of love. I believe in the mystical power of music. I find divinity in nature. I believe in the poetry of everyday things. I find beauty & power in a child's smile, my good man's strong embrace, passionate curvy women, a sudden rainstorm on a summer day, and a baseball hit so far and so high that it gets lost in the sunshine. *** I am fiercely loyal and I'll bend over backward for a true friend. *** I don't look like a "Goth" most days, but I've been told that I wear my black on the inside mostly. I like to go dancing at a nearby Goth club, but live music is my general preference at clubs. I've been to oodles of coliseum rock concerts over the years as well. *** I love to travel. I've been to the UK 3 times, and I'd gladly move to England if I could (as long as I could take my loved ones with me.) Closer to home, I love the mountains and the rural areas where the roads meander through pine forests, horse ranches and farmland. *** I enjoy creating. I make beaded jewelry & accessories. I like collage, assemblage & found art. I love music & have eclectic tastes from many genres & eras of music. I like cooking, photography, reading, poetry, fantasy, mystery, walking, nature, and swimming. I love film, classic & contemporary, and vintage radio drama. I am currently interested in the Triad Indie Film community and helping to support and promote independent filmmakers.I indulge in dark chocolate, bubble baths, sensual massage, and retail therapy. I collect beads, rabbits, handmade and mouthblown glass, art nouveau & deco advertising ephemera,and vintage and interesting glass bottles. I am exploring a variety of spiritual paths to find the one that is right for me. I am interested in meditation, Tarot, and Asian religions. I have two cats- one Maine Coone & one Ocicat.
