About Me

Hey there...so here's a little about me. After a few uninspired years in the corporate world, I quit my job and moved to NYC where i now reside. I started playing gigs at the Sidewalk in Manhattan's East Village. Here I found a very warm and welcoming songwriters community and I also found my guitarist, Greg Petito and bassist, Emek Rave. I still gig in the East Village and have gigs coming up in Manhattan, Brooklyn and at the NY Anti-Folk Festival in August 2006.My music is a fusion of folk and soul and musical influences are India Arie, Fiona Apple, Beth Orton and Tom Jobim. I am also heavily influenced by my travels to Africa and Brazil. BELEZAStay tuned for my EP late 2006.Thanks for visiting! cole
