Daniel Elmes's Blurbs About me: I am a record producer and guitarist originally from Hastings on the South coast of England but now I live in beautiful Vancouver British Columbia Canada. I have been a professional musician since I was 16, that was 23 years ago and Im still at it and enjoying it more and more as the years pass. Here in my studio I run my company Dubvibe Productions. We produce a wide range of music but have received most attention for the Hip Hop, Rap, Reggae and Electronica that we have done (dance music). As a guitarist I have played with lots of bands stretching from the best Reggae bands in the world (Yabby You, Mad Professor, Trinity, Frankie Paul Sugar Minot to name just a few) as well as Country bands, Blues bands, Jazz bands (big and small), Folk music, Pop bands, Funk/Motown bands and I love Brazilian music. You name it and at some time in my playing history Ive more than likely played it. I love the Blues and early (Pre 1950) Jazz, my time in Paris gave me a chance to learn lots of Swing tunes, old Broadway songs as well as music by the likes of Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and some other Bop and 'Cool" era artists. My time in Western Canada has given me the chance to play a lot of blues and that has been a wonderful experience. I recently finished the Mc Kryptic debut release "Every City's Got A Ghetto".
