About Me

..
___

Me:
Hmmm. It's all about me? Let's see... I'm a gay, male, Pagan, bear man who resides in Harrisburg, PA. I have a wonderful 'husbear' (yeah -- the term is somewhat annoying -- but suck it up, cupcake), a successful career, great friends, and have a terrific social life. Did you get all that? ;-) We are monogamous (Six months, and going strong!) and would like to keep it that way. Innocent flirting is fine, but if you have any interest in getting to know me (or us, for that matter) -- then you will have read this profile in full. That being said, if you have read this profile, you'll know not to proposition us, singly or as a couple, in any way, shape, or form. Thanks.
I'm thirty-seven years old. I like electronic/EBM/industrial/club/dance music, good musicals and comedy flicks. I love to cook and goof around online, when time permits. Looking forward to becoming more involved with Harrisburg, PA's new bear club, the Capital City Bears! (*see link to the left). I enjoy some crafting from time to time. That's me in a nutshell.
You:
You are friendly, can form a simple sentence, seem like a semi-sane person in your profile, aren't looking to score with Richard or I, and aren't a compulsive liar. If you are a bear man, I will most likely add you -- so never be afraid of sending a friend request. I'm friendly, but I choose my friends wisely. If I add you -- it means that I would eventually hope to meet someday. If I've deleted you, it means I want nothing more to do with you. Don't question me or my motives. Simply move on.
Oh, and most importantly, you must have a visible face pic, and be over 18. Thanks in advance.

My Interests

Electronic music, DVD's, cooking, some television, doodling, small doses of web design and graphic art, messing around .., gaming (not excessively), spending time with my friends and my beautiful new niece, and relaxing.

I'd like to meet:

Everyone on my friends list. :-)

Music:

Erasure, ABBA, The Carpenters, Moby, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Anything Box, Depeche Mode, Peach Union, Nine Inch Nails, Sunscreem, Bananarama, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Taylor Dayne, Juliet, Most Artists on A Different Drum , good synthpop, industrial, club, dance, EBM, darkwave, and goth bands.

Movies:

The entire Harry Potter series, Return to Oz, The Craft, What the Bleep Do We Know?, I ? Huckabees, Sordid Lives, As Good as it Gets, Comics-2-film, Any and all M. Night Shyamalan films, Good Sequels, most anything with a good plot or plot twist, and films that profoundly influence the way that I think about life or death.

Television:

I'm not big on television anymore. I hate cartoons (children's -or- adult, for that matter). I hate reality television. I hate watching the news. If a news story piques my interest, I read it ... I love "The Golden Girls",
"Will and Grace",
"Friends", "Everybody Loves Raymond", and "The Nanny", and I never, ever tire of those. Other shows that I miss (when television was in it's prime) are "Picket Fences", "Newhart" "Northern Exposure", "L.A. Law", "Sisters", "V" (The television movie -and- the series) and "Beauty and the Beast".

Books:

"Drawing Down the Moon" by Margot Adler, and "The Spiral Dance" by Starhawk.

Heroes:

I have many heroes. Heroes happen every day, and that, to me -- is extraordinary.

WTF?

So, I get home today. Nothing unusual there. I was starving, because work was busy and I didn't really have much to eat. Just a nosh or two on some Doritos and/or a bit of party mix. So, I come home -...

An unexpected surprise...

I ended up with a day off today! How did I manage that? I actually went to work, and left half an hour later! It was fantastic. I love overstaffing.   Not much to report here. We've launched our ...

Autumn, here we come!

I'm beginning to think that the bats know that something's up. We have a balcony directly outside our bedroom -- so I decided, now that the trees are gone (and we can actually see the sky) to go out a...

Its sad, really.

I'm having the hardest time accepting the fact that my only real day off is over. I've been working like mad, I've earned a healthy salary that afforded me the luxury of a new Wii -- and now I have li...

FINALLY!

I finally got my Wii! I worked very hard for it, and am very excited. Richard, Dave and I played Wii Sports, and I played a little Super Paper Mario. I'm a little tired, so I'll blog more about h...

Charles?

Well. A lot has happened outside of my job and home life, etc. I just never get around to putting down the 'little things' like I once did. But since I'm up early after a good nights' sleep -- I figur...

Outta control

My work was really difficult today. Not 'bad' difficult, mind you. It was just very busy. The company who owns us sent people from the midwest to help us get moving in the right direction (finally!), ...

5 Days until Wii! (and other stuff...)

Yes, yes... I am a little obsessed over the idea of finally getting my hands on my new gaming system. I've also decided my first game will be Super Paper Mario, since I really have a soft spot for the...

Hard work? Wii!

I've been a busy fella lately. The last three days at work were l-o-n-g. My first day of my MAC (Medication Administration Certification) class was a seventeen hour day. My second day? Fourteen hour. ...
