DETORN is a metal band influenced by thrash / death metal. It was formed in 2006.The band is composed of: JULIEN – singer (former LAELITH singer (celtic metal), former MANIFEST singer (1999-2005, power metal. MANIFEST released an EP recorded at the NSR studio, and performed many concerts with other bands such as DRYADE, LIFEKIT, MALMONDE, TRIPOD, NO RETURN, SIDILARSEN and KRISTENDOM.)) LAURENT – guitarist (former CLUN-K guitarist,1999-2003. CLUN-K released a five-title EP made at their own expense. CLUN-K is a spooky core band which toured with the label ROADRUNNER RECORDS and took part in some ONDES DE CHOC gigs.) (former FREEDOM OF CHOICE guitarist, 1995-1999. FREEDOM OF CHOICE five-title EP was released by the associative label CAP JEUNE MUSIC and was recorded at the BLATIN studio (63). This hard-core band played with OUT, UNCLE OH, KUNAMAKA…) LAURENT, alias BALO – guitarist. He played with various metal bands and was a founder member of the DETORN band. NICOLAS – drummer (guitarist of a death/black metal band called ENDLESS AGONY. This band released the album “AN AGONY OF FEAR†under the label DEAD SUN REC. They supported BEHEMOT, NO RETURN, NATRON, SCEPTIC FLESH and other bands. Nicolas took part in the H.O.P.E. project and sang on the album REASON OF DIVINE (2006).) SEB – bass player (bass player in the metal band DEACONS LODGE; their first album IRA FUROR BREVIS EST was released in 2007, it was made at their own expense and recorded at the PRO-PULSE Studio (DISLOCATION…). They performed with REST IN PEACE, AWACKS, BLACKLASH and supported the German band KREATOR and the Italian band NOVEMBRE.)DETORN is a project which gathers 5 musicians whose influences are very different, but whose mutual interests are to create a genuine Thrash metal band. Thanks to the experiences of its members, the band has been able to find its own identity and to create a thrash metal both influenced by American and Swedish bands (Machine Head, Pantera, Entombed). DETORN performed its first concert with the hard core band FAT ASS (end 2007). [email protected] DETORN est un groupe de metal aux infuences thrash /death formé en 2006. Le groupe se compose de : -JULIEN au chant, ex chanteur de LAELITH (groupe de metal celtique), et de MANIFEST (1999-2005), groupe de power metal, ayant un ep à son actif enregistré au NSR studio et de nombreuses dates avec les groupes DRYADE, LIFEKIT, MALMONDE, TRIPOD, NO RETURN, SIDILARSEN, et KRISTENDOM. - LAURENT à la guitare, ex guitariste de CLUN-K (1999-2003) groupe de spooky core qui a sorti un ep 5 titres autoproduit et en tounée en partenariat avec le label ROADRUNNER RECORDS, soirées ONDES DE CHOC. Laurent est également ex guitariste de FREEDOM OF CHOICE (1995-1999) groupe de hard core ayant joué avec OUT, UNCLE OH, KUNAMAKA et qui a 1 Ep 5 titres édité sous le label associatif CAP JEUNE MUSIC enregistré au studio BLATIN (63) . - LAURENT alias BALO à la guitare, membre fondateur du groupe DETORN, ayant joué dans différentes formations metal. - NICOLAS à la batterie, membre du groupe de death/black metal ENDLESS AGONY au poste de guitariste, avec un album sorti sous le label DEAD SUN REC nommé AN AGONY OF FEAR . ENDLESS AGONY a ouvert pour différents groupes dont notamment BEHEMOTH, NO RETURN, NATRON, SEPTIC FLESH. Nicolas a participé en tant que chanteur au projet H.O.P.E pour l’album REASON OR DIVINE sorti chez BACKSTAGE en 2006. - SEB à la basse, également bassiste dans le groupe metal DEACONS LODGE, 1er album IRA FUROR BREVIS EST en 2007, autoproduit et enregistré au PRO –PULSE Studio (DISLOCATION …), concerts avec REST IN PEACE, AWACKS, BACKLASH et a ouvert en 2000 pour le groupe allemand KREATOR, et le groupe italien NOVEMBRE. DETORN est un projet réunissant 5 musiciens d’ univers différents ayant comme point commun l’envie de faire un véritable groupe de Thrash metal . Fort de toutes ces expériences, le groupe a su trouver sa marque de fabrique en créant un thrash metal aux influences à la fois américaines et suédoises (Machine head, Pantera, Entombed…) DETORN a partagé l’affiche pour son premier concert fin 2007 avec le groupe de hard core FAT ASS Dans le but de tourner et de démarcher une distribution et un label, le groupe enregistre actuellement son premier album qui devrait voir le jour fin 2008CONTACT / SEB 06.19.39.08.81 ou
