The Anniversary Tour - so far so good...
On 21st of April in Berlin war machine VADER kicked off the anniversary tour in Europe. The first week of the tour was nothing but great! All the shows we played so far were just fantastic, many metalheads came to see VADER and special guest acts of the tour- SEPTIC FLESH, DEVIAN, INACTIVE MESSIAH. "XXV-Anniversary Tour 2008" is a great opportunity to see the leading European death metal act (and one of the best groups of death metal genre in the world) in its top condition. After 25 years they are more dangerous than ever, playing killer sets every single night. Best show so far was definitely in Antwerpen where 650 maniacs unleashed pure hell! Fantastic turnout (for such an extreme genre of music) in Hannover (300), Haarlem (290), Leeuwarden (300)...

Song from "XXV" available on MySpace!
Listen to the new version of "Incarnation" taken from the upcoming anniversary album "XXV" in our playlist here. The record will be unleashed at the end of May through Regain Records. The album was specially recorded for VADER's 25th anniversary and features re-recorded songs from various periods of band's history. The album was entirely recorded, mixed and mastered at Hertz Studio with Wieslawscy Bros behind the helm, known from some previous VADER's productions as "The Art Of War" or "Impressions in Blood". The regular double disc edition of the album will feature 25 songs. Among famous VADER's hits as "Carnal", "Cold Demons", "Black To The Blind" you will find there one never officially published track "Tyrani Piekiel" from the very early days of the band. Special digi-pack edition of "XXV" will be released with additional DVD disc featuring bonus songs (Polish versions of "Trupi Jad" or "Reborn in Flames") and some historical rarities in the form of video footage recorded between 1986-2001!!! All the graphics and whole layout of "XXV" was designed by Jacek Wisniewski, Polish graphic artist resposible for "Black To The Blind", "Litany", "Revelations" or "The Beast" cover arts.

DISMEMBER confirmed for VADER's anniversary!
Swedish death metal pioneers DISMEMBER, procreators of famous "Swedish sound" have been confirmed as the next special guest of VADER's anniversary gig in Warsaw's Stodola Club, August 30. The band didn't play in Poland for ages (the tour planned for beginning of 2007 was cancelled) so they are really excited about this anniversary gig. That will be a great opportunity for Polish fans to see them finally on live, the more so because the band is going really well at the moment and their recent album "Dismember" released via Regain Records is for sure one of their strongest works to date. On the Polish show DISMEMBER will team up with such acts as VADER, SAMAEL, ENTOMBED, NILE, GOREFEST, ROTTING CHRIST, GRAVE, KRISIUN, SEPTICFLESH...
VADER on the Summer Slaughter Fest 2008!
In association with Randall Amps, Washburn Guitars, Redux Beverages and Decibel Magazine present the 2nd Annual Summer Slaughter Tour. 10 bands, representing 5 different countries, will join forces June 20th in Detroit to kick off The Summer Slaughter Tour of 2008. Also VADER will appear on that one, sharing the stage with such bands as THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, KATAKLYSM, CRYPTOPSY, THE FACELESS, DESPISED ICON, ABORTED, BORN OF OSIRIS, PSYCROPTIC, WHITECHAPEL.

After 15 years ,when we had a pleasure to tour many times in USA ,VADER possessed thousands of die hard Fans but we never had a opportunity to show our Power on bigger performances over there.
