Welcome to Decadence North Carolina Street Team. This site is not run by the band. But has it’s permission & approval. It is runned by me Christopher Kisielka a fan & a friend of the band to promote them & get others interested in their music & hopefully have them play live in the state of North Carolina.
ABOUT ______________________________________________________What is Decadence? ___________________________________________________________ Decadence is young Metal band formed in November of 2003 in Stockholm, Sweden. The concept was created by the band’s vocalist and manager Metallic Kitty and since that time, Decadence has worked hard on creating albums and playing live. Decadence has always been seen as a live band. This is when our music literally comes alive so if Decadence would be presented to someone new to us, a live show would definitely be the place to do it. We love being crazy on stage, headbanging, connecting with the fans and simply have a good time with what we love doing the most. __________________________________________________________De ath Metal is already dominating the Metal scene. Scandinavia is flooding with all Melodic Death Metal bands and the scene will grow even further and even faster in the nearest future. That makes Decadence’ goal to strengthen the Thrash Metal scene, with a new touch but still in the roots of the old, great, Bay Area. The Thrash Metal scene needs support and we will do our best to keep it alive. __________________________________________________________ What music does Decadence play? ____________________________________________________________ They have worked hard on this genre that we call Melodic Thrash Metal: Decadence music can be described as Thrash Metal with the heaviness of melodic Death Metal without keyboards. An addition of extreme, aggressive female vocals and growl techniques as well as Thrash Metal screams is added to the mix. The original combination of these effects gives a specific sound which has evoked significant international enthusiasm. __________________________________________________________ This will describe the bands’ overall sound quite well. The riffs have a Thrash Metal basis but we have added a melodic touch to them as well as extreme, aggressive female vocals instead of what would be heard on clean vocal based Thrash sounds. The keyboards are replace by harmony lines made by guitar. We recommend Decadence music to people who appreciate bands like Death, Kreator, Testament, Metallica, Children of Bodom and the like. ___________________________________________________________ Who plays in the band? ____________________________________________________________ The band members are hard working young people born between 1983-1988. The members are: Metallic Kitty(extreme vocals) Kenneth Lantz(1st guitar)= Simon Galle(2nd guitar)= Joakim Antman(bass) Erik RöjÃ¥s, (drums) __________________________________________________________ How about Decadence albums? In the last three years, Decadence has released three fullength albums and one demo as follows:.........................{3rd Stage of Decay(2006)}....{The Creature(2005)}{Decadence(2005)}...{Land of Despair(2003)} ==============================And the new one is on the way! Decadence is recording it at the moment & yes we all will be pleased with another melodic thrash metal masterpiece!!_______________________________________________ _____________ Is Decadence a signed band? ___________________________________________________________ Decadence joined forces with vocalist Metallic Kitty’s indie label HTI Records in 2006, making the album "3rd Stage of Decay" the debut in the world of signed bands. The label was solely made for the purpose of Decadence and is not, at the moment, signing more bands.
