You're Never Alone With a Clone

About Me

I'm a 36 year old music fiend, bookworm and fashion maven in Brooklyn, NY. I am from Long Island, but I now live in NYC with my boyfriend Matt. Music is very important to me - I couldn't live without it. I’m an identical twin, and yes, it rocks. In the words of Ferris Beuhler, "I highly recommend picking one up, if you have the means. It's so choice." I'm interested in the plus size modeling industry, fashion, literature, poetry slams, alternative music, Mexican food, fly fishing, trains, and about 1.5 billion other things. I really happen to dig fractals and fractal art. I'm nurturing a newly formed passion for hiking, and I'd love to chat with anyone who has hiked any or all of the Appalachian Trail. I just bought a new hybrid bike and plan on doing some mountain and road biking as well. I'm always looking for plus size girls in the NYC metro area who are interested in the plus industry - I love to network! Live music fans, musicians, fashion designers, stylists, makeup artists, hairdressers, writers, aspiring models and generally cool people should think about dropping me a line. Thanks for stopping by.
Please check out www.bombshellmagazine.com! It's an online fashion and lifestyle magazine for plus size women that is going to print in spring of 2007. I am part of the editorial team. Click below to go right to Bombshell and Bombshell Girl Magazines!

My Interests

I'm a consumer of all types of art: poetry, prose, drama, paintings, dance, etc.
Behold the great Jean Michel Basquiat:

I'd like to meet:

Fans of alternative, jungle, emo, indie, industrial, blues - heck, all music fans, people who like to go to live, general admission shows and battle their way to the front of the crowd, models of all kinds, punks, artists, museum dwellers, flea market shoppers, goths, dweebs, nerd blossoms, Sam Waterston, Morrissey, Stephen King, people who like trains, writers, hikers, Beatniks, poets, generally creative people, folks who love themselves, other amazing, bold women like me. :) Throw in some famous people who aren't too precious, some old friends....... Michael Stipe is definitely someone I'd like to chat up. I've loved REM since the Murmur EP, and there's no turning back now.
I'd also like to meet Henry Rollins a.)because I dig his music and spoken word stuff and b.)for reasons that are probably pretty evident in this photo.
