A brief update...
Moved to India. Studing classical Indian dance and researching Rajasthani folk dance for years now quite obsessively. I found my tribe and live with them most of the time... Khalbelia "Gypsies" that live in the desert as snake charmers and wildly passionate dancers/ musicians. I spend my nights either performing dance with them or sitting around the campfire telling endless dirty jokes about eachothers snatch's. By day I am directing a dance school I opened in a beautiful temple in Pushkar, Rajasthan (North India, near to Pakistan). I continue intensive training under my Odissi classical dance guru and dance everyday untill it hurts to walk, I also teach a dance classes in my school to visitors from all over the world. (I go back to USA in the summer for a visit with the trees and mountains and beautiful friends.)Life here in India is full of 5 legged cows wearing dresses, crowds of veiled old women sitting next to the lake singing songs in unisen, the smell of flowers and incence being offered in the temples and sunsets that make you certain that the gods really exist. Following my dreams no matter what sacrifices it requires, and life seems to be offering me things more wild than I could ever dream up.
