I usually don't make a whole lot of sense, but I can somehow still fake intelligent insight more often than not. I'm scared of robots. I laugh when people choke, and when I choke as well, for that matter - and this usually causes me to choke even more. I enjoy a good omelet. There are several ways to spell omelette, and I don't know which is correct. I'm terrible when it comes to picking the right-sized coffee cup lids. I go to U of T sometimes and do a really half-assed job while I'm there. I love learning but do it better on my own terms. I study Philosophy, Music History and Culture, and French. I act and model. I make jewelry. I paint. I make things. I enjoy doing crosswords but I've only ever finished three. Maybe four. I love improv, and I train with Second City. I also train with Sears and Switzer. It's soooooooo fun. They can really pull YOU out of YOUrself. I love music. Music moves me. I play the piano, keyboard, guitar, and some percussionny things, like my cowbell, bongos, egg shaker, and tambourine. I write songs but do nothing with them other than sing them really loud in my shower. I have a habit of talking just to hear my own voice. I've done it since I was very little. I find it annoying when strangers ask me "What are you?" - wanting to know my ethnic backround. I want to answer "Half". Then they'll say "Half what?" and I'll be like "half-tempted to give you a knuckle sandwich. Now get some tact." I love walking around Toronto with my headphones on. Sometimes I turn the music off and just eavesdrop on unsuspecting victims. But usually I am really listening to music. I get a natural high from making unexpecting friends out of strangers, hearing a quote I love in a wicked song, and hearing FIRST DAY OF SPRING by The Gandharvas on the first nice day of a new year. I get annoyed when people get on the subway before letting me off. Same deal on the streetcar. And in elevators. I think if everyone tried to smile and say "hi" to strangers, we'd realize how close we all are, and big cities wouldn't seem so cold. Try it next time you go walking - you might be surprised. One day I'm going to be famous. I'm so exicted for the HATE MAIL that I know I will get.
