About Me

GOTHIEN, founded in 2003 in Pilsen (Czech Republic), plays and interprets medieval music in an original way. The band uses replica instruments and costumes of the period and performs at medieval feasts, festivals and concerts. Their repertoire consists of both secular and spiritual music of the 11th - 16th centuries. They have recently supported Blackmore's Night, at various venues on the 2007 European Tour.
