Basically just the normal, everyday working person. People gotta eat somehow! Work hard, play hard 7 days a week. Been living in the P.I. for a serious 8-plus years, but still repping Houston to the fullest (bleed Rockets red even with T-Mac's back spasms, and too bad for the 'Stros). Just trying to push the underground hip-hop scene here to greater heights whle paying the rent at the same time. Here's a little press on my contribution to our little local scene ............................................................ ........................... The Dungeon Show helmed by the underground/true school stalwart Decypher is the only radio show in the Philippines that dropped quality underground hip-hop to the ears of thousands of Filipinos since 2001. Helmed by DJ Decypher, sure shot singles from Black Star, Company Flow, Arsonists, Non Phixion, Little Brother, Dilated Peoples, Jurassic 5, Akrobatik, Wee Bee Foolish, Juggaknotz, Rasco, Planet Asia, Lootpack, Slum Village, Hieroglyphics, Royce 5'9, K-Otix, Blackalicious and many others made it exclusively in his playlist. Even pushing the envelope further with then-unknowns like Medaphoar, Sir Menelik, Styles of Beyond, People Under The Stairs, Living Legends, Pumpkinhead, Supastition, Wordsworth, Jean Grae, Jigmastas, 7L & Esoteric, Jedi Mind Tricks, C-Rayz Walz and MF Doom. Also paying respects to the pioneers like Rakim, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, BDP, De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, Large Professor, Masta Ace, DITC, Organized Konfusion, The Beatnuts, MOP, Jeru the Damaja, Common, Public Enemy, Boot Camp Click, Wu-Tang Clan and Run DMC, the Dungeon Show took a rewind session for the new cats out there who didn't experience the golden era of hip-hop . Never watering down the music and always keeping the show on the cutting edge of hip-hop, the Dungeon Show continues to rock headphones and car stereos to this day.
