About Me

YOU CAN STREAM OUR ENTIRE ALBUM, "CATAPULT CALYPSO." (click here).
Ad Astra Per Aspera formed in the fall of 2001. It was a great year to form a band. At first, we had one of those free angelfire websites, that was great until the ads got out of control. In 2004 we picked up a dot com and began promoting ourselves more professionally. Eventually, we decided our dot com needed some flash and we had it redesigned about a year ago. But after a year, we've decided we want things to move around or spin or something. Know what i mean? Somewhere in there we set up a myspace. If we can figure out a way to make things more spin-ny on here, we'll do it.
John Counts takes killer photos. He shot the roman candles photo and the photos in the flint hills. He does fantastic work! Check it out here.
