I started making music a long time ago, and recorded my own set of eight songs in March, 2006. After editing and producing that CD of me playing a Yamaha YPP-50, I waited a few months and then took up guitar, and haven't done much new material since then.
I guess the major thing that I would say about my music is that it is repetitive and it has a tendency to drone and get really annoying. That might sound self-derisive, but it's true all the same. However, I do make attempts to counteract the tedium of the songs I've recorded, such as adding very subtle sound clips, or adding an effect to make the sound of a certain set of notes different. And also another thing that I don't mind my songs being drone-ish for, is that they make for excellent background music, if you think about it. With no lyrics, if you just put it on and play it with the volume down, it might be good for conversations. And moreover, my music is better in person, which is ironic, since I haven't ever played a real concert, like onstage. But I'm working on that.
The End.
