Like I said before.... Skulls, knives, bows, weapons, shit like that.
I sure do like to shoot GUNS
"Primitive" guns (even though they aren't so primitive. By the way, this pic is one of the coolest ones there is of me. This one, and that one with me holding up the AK and shooting the bird.
And Modern guns.
As with many nerds such as myself, I collect coins. Mostly for their historical value. I can tell you shit you never even WANTED to know about U.S. coinage. Did I mention that I'm big into history? Military history, weapon history, stuff like that. I like to cook too. I can cook one HELL of a beef stew. And it's even better if I cook it in my grandma's pot. I also like my cars. BOTH of em. I hate to work on my cars though. Hate it. Absolutely hate it. I'm one of those people who should not legally be allowed to work on cars. I lose my temper way too fast with that business. That's not really an "interest" though. I like good movies, good music. I like to sit around the fire in the backyard with a few friends, listening to some celtic music and drinking BEER and absinthe. I like to go camping. I also like to ride my bike. Sometimes....... I like to draw. Even though I'm no good at it.
Click on the GALLEON to see more of my crappy drawings. (Link leads to very OLD webpage with mostly very OLD drawings.)
I also like to take pictures, mostly nature. I'm not going to say I'm into photography, because basically all I do is point the camera at something and make sure the shot is gonna look good, then click the button. That's all photography REALLY is, right? It's just that some people have a better knack for it than others. Here lately, I have found great subjects in my garden, and the treefrogs that like to hang out in it. For more pictures, just keep an eye out in my bulletings and my liverjournal. I believe that this is the most beautiful pictures I have ever taken and even seen. It is of one of my treefrog friends hanging out on a purple sage plant.
And of course..... my animals. Here is a rather old pic of my african bullfrog that I've had for FOURTEEN years. She is probably slightly older than that, though.
I also spend ENORMOUS amounts of time looking up at the sky at night. Lying on the hood of my station wagon in the middle of the swamp, standing out in the middle of the marsh, or just in my own backyard. Sometimes.... I look into the heavens with this. It's a telescope about as big as a water heater.
Also, I LOVE CRAWFISH . to a degree that would prevent me from living anywhere else in the country where I can't get them.
I'd like to meet:
Sane, intelligent, witty people with perverted, sarcastic and corny senses of humor. If you wish to contact me, do so on Yahoo!. My screen name is bloodredravenclaw or justacelticharpist. Don't worry. I don't bite. I just might NERD you to death though. If you don't do im, that's ok! Neither do I most of the time, so you could just email me at that yahoo screen name. I always reply to emails. That is... unless I dont like you. If you're the stalker type, or if you have some kind of personal vendetta against me, I'm not at all concerned about that. I sleep with my two best frieds right beside me. Death and Despair.
Death is always ready to do her job. For the exceptionally persistant and for anyone who would try to enter my home against my wishes...... My buddy Khan (pictured with me to the left) is kept at an arm's length with a full magazine ready to do it's job. In excess.
Now let's talk about who I would specifically like to meet. I would like to meet Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. For obvious reasons. I wish that I could go back in time and meet all those people that I listed under the "Heroes" section. If you knew me, you'd understand why. I would like to meet Fairuza Balk and Kate Beckinsale. Those two women are beautiful beyond words, but, I must admit; Kate Beckinsale is pretty much the most beautiful woman alive. AND...... she's my future wife. ::Shivers:: I would give a lung for a mere moment to simply stare into her eyes in person.
Here is a modest homage to the most beautiful woman on planet Earth. My wife, Kate Beckinsale.
::shivers::
Now THAT is a true Lady. In all the sense of the word. I wish that Bob Ross was still alive. I would love to spend time with that man and have coffee with him. I don't expect anyone to know who Richard Harris was, but on film, he presents an image and character in every role he plays to which I aspire to be one day. Calm; well spoken, highly educated and supremely wise. Now, I don't know if he was like that in real life, but I would like to have known. I would like to have met the privateer, Jean Laffitte.
I would like to meet this guy.
His name is Kow Otani. He wrote and composed the score to the game "Shadow of the Colossus". His music is powerful and moving. It is even moreso when you've played the game. As one musician who recognizes genius when he sees it, I say that this man's songwriting is up there along with THE MAN, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Also this man:
His name is Nikola Tesla. He is responsible for so many technologies that you couldn't live without today incdluding wireless technologies and practical uses for alternating current. :) If it weren't his breaktroughs, Edison would still be working with DC power for his lightbulb and wireless would be WAY behind.
There are tons of people I'd like to meet; liked to have met, but this is getting long... so.... if you wish to know, follow the instructions given in the first paragraph of this section.
Now.. if the following words or phrases appear in your profile in what you believe to be a socially acceptable form of grammar, then you are deffinitely not someone I want to meet. The words and phrases are, but not limited to: "Representin'", "chillin", "peeps", "Keepin' it real", "holla atcha...", "partyin' and havin' a good time" (as your main reponse to 'interests or hobbies'), "grill", "blingin", "iced out", etc..,

Pantera, The Chieftans, Beth Patterson , a wonderful local folk singer from New Orleans, The Dubliners, Skynard, Santana, Mortician, good music.
What music do I play? I play melodic death metal with lots and lots of harmony. I also play the 36 string celtic harp. I play celtic tunes on that of course. I had to teach myself though. I play the piano as well, and am learning the concertina and the recorder. Bass guitar is pretty much easy for me cuz I play the 6 string. You know what they say about bass players, don't you? They play the bass cuz they couldn't handle SIX strings! Har har. On the acoustic I play mostly Baroque and classical pieces, although I have been falling out of practice of late.
Now.. if you live in Louisiana, you love beautiful music, and you wish to add some CULTUREto your life.... click on the image below.
Movies:
Star Wars! The Patriot. Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Carribbean, Cutthroat Island, Van Helsing, Gladiator, Pearl Harbor, Underworld (but the big reason is because Kate Beckinsale is in it) American History X (even though the ending really pisses me off), The Three Musketeers and The Musketeer for thier fantasitic display of fencing, Highlander movies, Both X-Men, Spiderman movies, Kevin Smith movies, Count of Monte Cristo... basically, anything good. Revenge movies, comedies, dramas. AMADEUS! Just about anything directed by Martin Scorsese, too. Gangs of New York, Goodfellas, Casino, The Aviator, The Departed.
Television:
The usual. Family guy, Scubbs, Aqua Teen hunger force, Squidbillies, The daily show, who's line is it anyway?, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Mail Call on the History channel. Now that show rocks. And who could forget: Beavis and Butthead, The Simpsons, and Pinky and the Brain, and Animaniacs. And of course, fuckin HIGHLANDER
Also, The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross is probably the greatest show made for television. Ever.
Good lord! Just look at the MAGIC that man is putting all over that canvass!
Books:
Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. ALL OF THEM. Sherlock Holmes. Also any type of historical fiction and non-fiction, really. Also, even though it's not literature, I'm going to put "The Best of The Joy of Painting" right here because it's still a book. 60 full color paintings by Bob Ross. Also, The Audobon Society Field Guide series; more specifically Guide to North American Reptiles and Amphibians.
Heroes:
Robert E. Lee is a hero of mine because he was a military genius. Ghengis Khan is a Hero as well because he forged the biggest contiguous empire ever seen in the history of the world. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is deffinitely a guy to look up to, and so is John Williams. Those are 2 of the greatest composers of all time. My all time Hero though, is Dave Mustaine, the guitar GOD. Oh, and Sherlock Holmes is a hero of mine too. Even though he isn't real. I've still learned alot from that fictional character. I guess that would actually translate to "I've learned a lot from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle", because he did, in fact, create Sherlock Holmes, and all that goes on in Holmes' mind actually comes from Doyle's mind. Hm. No matter. I still admire them both.
You know, I don't really "look up to" anyone at all. I don't "idolize" people. I feel to do so would put myself in a position lower than they, and in my point of view, that's sort of an injustice to one's self. So I guess you can also say that I am my own hero.
