When asked about her musical influences, she responded with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, and Gwen Stefani. These influences are evident on her debut album “Hot!”. Ophelia has a rare fusion of vocal range and harmony to create a very unique sound and style.

In 1997, Ophelia Duggan met and toured with Kymani Marley through 2000 as a background vocalist, visiting places such as Europe, Hawaii, Africa, Gwam, Aruba and her birth place Jamaica. During these years she had the pleasure of sharing the stage with talents such as Shaggy, Busta Rhymes and Wyclef, just to name a few. It was these experiences that fueled her love of being an entertainer and gave Ophelia the urge to pursue a solo recording career.
