About Me

Okay, here I am as well. Not sure if the world has been waiting for that...Maybe some of you would like to know a few facts about Miss Loveland? 2005 I joined this notorious band "The Fuzztones" and fell in love with...the music! Ever since I'm 12 I seperated myself from the Madonna fans. I discovered my parents record collection, that stopped with the Kinks. From there on I discovered my record dealer, to be exact his records. The Pebbles, Songs We Taught The Fuzztones, and some rare comps opened the Doors Of my Music Perception. I bought and stole (pocket money wasn't big then!) almost everything that looked like sixties music on vinyl. Did my Homework and overlooked the 80's Revival, ouch! That changed later...Always wondered why it was this music that grabbed my attention from very early on. I asked Sean Bonniwell during our tour what he thinks people like about this music: "It's written in my book, but I will tell you anyhow (that's how his answers usually start) it's the magic and the honesty of that decade, and it will never come back". Rudi thinks it's because:" The world's cherry hadn't been popped yet." Rudi, only you could give an answer like that, you cherrypopper! I added: Those were the days, my friend, and it seemed perfect: Welcome to Nostalgialand! My first band was Cox Orange, 1995. I co-wrote all of our originals, that will be re-recorded on my upcoming solo album. After Cox Orange, many more local acts followed. In 2000 I moved to San Diego. Immidiately I got involved with the Bonniwell Music Machine. Three days Sean and Ron Edgar stayed with me for practicing. When they arrived at my door, three hours early, I jumped out of my bath, said "Come On In," forgetting to tell them "the water is fine." I doubted that anybody in my hometown would ever believe me! After my return to Ole Europe me and my then partner put together a European Tour for the Bonniwell Music Machine, which was an utter success, people with tears in their eyes, tough guys I know, became putty, thankful to see the master perform "Talk Talk" and "Come On In" live. Soon after, Rudi was calling, and whoooaaaaa, FINALLY I joined a band that is 100% my taste. That music, the power, the darkness, the non-purist factor, the voodoo, the lead snarl, the cartoonish and bizarre sixties garb, the boots...oh my god...those boots with those Hercules legs, don't forget the scary bones, everything just pure energy, sex and strong rock'n roll. That sets them appart from normality, makes them literally "Protruding," here I could go off. You know those kinda musicians you have to tell: "Can you play that song a bit, like, you GODDAMN MEAN IT!!! Not me...usually I am too much, but just right for the thundering Fuzztones! I think this band is just like, as Bo Diddley once said, A-OKEY!
