Young Skolar....SKOLAR SEASON MODE

Growing up in the Middle East with little to no Hip Hop influence a Young "El DUce" had his first real taste of the Rap Game when he and his family moved to Houston, TX in the early parts of 1995. There a young Skolar spet his free time listening to music by legends such as 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., UGK, Scarface and Snoop Dogg just to name a few. Life in The US didnt materialise smoothly for Skolar and his family and that led his father to relocate his family yet again, this time to other side of the World in New Zealand. There Skolar continued his passion for hip hop and poetry but only seriously took upon the art of writing song lyrics in 2003 at the age of 14. Going through the harsh times of a post 9/11 world in a foreign land, Skolar put aside adversaries such as racism and gang trouble to continue his writing and having a successful underground freestyle record. He also managed to successfully complete his high school years with commendable grades. Then came 2007 a year that saw Skolar enter a professional booth for the first time with professionally made beats top of the line production equipment. It made Skolar wary of the fact that the rap game is definitely an option he can successfully pursue and thus started his own imprint "No Regretz Ent". Releasing a few mixtape Hype tracks and a remix to Tony Sunshine's "Everywhere I go" were jus the stepping stones for this young and talented artist. His debut release "The Demo......Yea Ryte" has benn kept under wraps to be released in line with the start of the new Tertiary Education Year in 2008. Production will come from Go-Getta, Mystiks,Sketchy, Yonni and Skolar himself.A blend of lyrical genius and commercial sound is what best describes this Young man whose main influences vary from Undergroung legends like Immortal Technique to Commercial Giants such as 50 cent. Skolar is trying to bring the best of both worlds to his sound which he calls "Lyricommercialism"...Differences with other artists have ben set aside as this Lyrical genius aims to take the rap Game by storm in 2008 and he is yet to even turn 19 !!!18 and the sky is the limit for Young SKolar.....
