His great grandfather opened the first white tablecloth restaurant in Birmingham, Alabama in 1915, the famed Hooper’s Café a.k.a. Hooper’s Place. Chef Bob is a regular guest Chef on Fox 6 Good Day Alabama show every Tuesday Morning at 8:45 am for the past 12 years. His segments on the Birmingham morning show are viewed regularly by his many fans throughout the state of Alabama.Highly regarded for his proficiency in virtually every cooking style, Chef Bob is perhaps best known for his love of (and creation of) deep south cuisine. The words "Deep-South Cuisine" are often misunderstood. Not to be confused with Cajun or Creole, which is strictly the product of Louisiana, Deep South Cuisine is instead the product of the whole of Southern culture, served up with hospitality. This includes what is known as "soul food", meaning "food that feeds the soul". Chef Bob is the author of 'Cooking in the Deep-South with Chef Bob'. With this book, Chef Bob succeeds in defining Deep-South cooking as a regional cuisine and dispenses with the cliché that everything in the Deep-South is fried. Yes, there is a good bit of that, but there is so much more, as you will discover in this wonderful book filled with personal stories and recipes from Chef Bob. I like all music** except country, pop and hard core rap** If the musician plays or sings from thier soul u can feel it so thats what I connect with. Beth Hart bethhart.com & Stars Below, Sophia Darcell, and The Swear are probably my favorite Totally opposite from Stars Below is my Sade... I don't think I could get through the night without listening to her.

Movies:

..Anything by quentin tarantino....I dont think he has ever made a bad movie. I love all short films.
