Sway is newly revised Bellingham Trio. They are changing from quartet to trio but they stay true to their ambient, fusion sound. The music is evolving into unique blends of funky electronic jams. While other compositions are focused more on the lyrical aspect of the music. They look foward to the future in this new group formation and embrace the challenges in preforming/composing as a trio.
The dynamic grooves and Sways connection with the audience nourishes an atmosphere of intense boogie funk. Jesse Hunter on guitar tosses off fluid runs and melodic riffs. Omar Martinez on keyboards and bass tastefully adds his funky jazz style to the mix, using his beloved Synths, Organ and Fender Rhodes. Matt Hunters finesse in drumming provides a solid backdrop of subtle yet creative rhythms.
