I am from Czech republic, nice, shy and quiet boy (at the beginning), third kid of farmer people, have got 2 bros, 3 sisters, play guitar and sing in our worship team.
I like dogs, music, calm woods and sunset colors :)
My musical journey may not be so typical, but that´s what everybody likes to think so... :), anyway
I was born in communist country in central Europe and when the Velvet Revolution came I was just 8.
We were traditional christians and had no idea there is a Bible or God who actually cares about us. But He showed us His love and when I was 11 years old, my whole family came to Christ. At about same time I started to learn how to play guitar. My motive was a bit funny - I started because my older sister did :). After a year of fiddling:) I got a classical teacher who trained me for about two years.
In that time I got involved in praise and worship team in our church. Lovely times:) God had to be laughing so loud He could not hear us play! :) But still He loved it:). He kinda always loves when His children come to Him and praise Him ...
All right back to the journey - At high school I had music teacher who forced us to sing and while I thought it was impossible for me to learn to sing, he managed to change my thinking AND my singing skills. At age of 14 I got a new teacher, who chose more modern approach to musical training so I got new insight in music in general and regarding further possibilities of my instrument.
Through the years I went through different worship teams in different churches and also got involved in leading worship, particularly at youth groups. At age of 16 I encountered music of christian artists like Petra, Carman and DC talk. This started a desire in my heart to reach the world for Jesus through music. So I started a band with few other guys from our youth group. That was the impulse for writing new songs and performing outside the church enviroment. Well, we were not ready yet and we quit. However we continued in church and kept growing. And keep growing ... :)
