KAMIKAZE PILOTS are a fresh, imposing indie rock and roll band with the energy, ambition and talent to rock your world and blow your mind.

Kamikaze Pilots erupted onto the scene in early 2005, instantly commanding attention with their eclectic mix of gripping, powerful, blistering tracks. They triumphed in three successive battle of the bands in just three months. From this exposure the band locked down a massive loyal following, propelling them to sell out gigs at established venues such as the Sugarmill and the Underground. This can only be attributed to pure talent, hard graft, and word of mouth ignited by their incendiary live performances.

Why should you care? Namely, the five piece don’t fuck about when getting the crowd going. When the unrelenting drums and fierce bass kick in, people cannot help but take notice. Couple this with the savage guitars and powerful raw vocals and the Kamikaze Pilots music manifests itself as a seamless, aural delight in a tidy rock and roll package.

With a range of varied influences, Kamikaze Pilots are a group capable of spearheading a new movement in British music.

This autumn the band were back in the studio, producing more, quality tracks for their new self titled E.P. already receiving rave reviews and regular airplay. The band is now getting out and playing live to audiences up and down the country.

Their massive onstage presence and memorable tracks appeal to all - muses, drunks, beauty queens and bed wetters. So what are you waiting for? Get your arse out and see them while you can….

‘Kamikaze Pilots are odds on favourite to reawaken rocks revolutionary spirit. At their recent performance at the Rock Café 2000 they fired up the audience with a tough, primitive rock n roll sound. They are firmly modelled on the garage savagery of rocks greats, but pitting different musical approaches against each other to watch sparks fly’

‘Kamikaze Pilots look the part, they look like a rock ‘n’ roll band and man do they play like one. They embody the rock ‘n’ roll spirit before even playing a note. The band thrashed through a stomping set with old songs and new songs from their latest E.P. The band dedicated the irresistible ‘It Won’t Last’ to their legion of fans who had taken over the floor nearest the stage. The stand out track of the night had to be ‘She’s Alive’ which you think had been taken right out of a Primal Scream (Give Out But Don’t Give Up era) or Oasis setlist. Also a special mention has to go to ‘Counting Sheep’ which had a rhythm that screamed ‘I am the Resurrection’ by the Stone Roses. The telling factor was though after the band finished final song ‘Rock n Soul’ they were almost unable to leave stage as they were bombarded by fans clambering for autographs. By the time the gig was over even the people who weren’t fans had been convinced, so here’s to the Kamikaze Pilots Stoke’s very own Rock ‘n’ Roll pioneers.;
