MusicFreedom is designed as your home, or hub, for music. It doesnt matter if youre an artist or a music-lover, you will find something useful here. You can discover new music and artists, meet some other cool people, collaborate, share, discuss, etc. You can also build your Hub with links to all your other sites, upload and share photos and videos, blog, and a whole lot more Artists can set their own price for their songs and Ringtones, and they can make up to $.87 per song, which is way more than most places.

All of us here at MF are music people first and foremost. We have worked on tons of records some very commercial that you would have heard of, some a little more obscure but thats not really important. Luckily, our passion for music has enabled us to make a career out of it, and also do some cool stuff like this site where its not really about the money, but for the love.

You will hear us refer to MF as a tool most of the time. Thats because its built more like an application than like a webpage. Theres a lot of cool back end technology that makes it all happen, and a really simple, snazzy interface on the front. We made this place so musicians would have a better tool to get their music out there Built by people who really understand what musicians need in a site.

A final note we get asked a lot how people can support the site, or if they can make a donation. If you feel like supporting us, support our artists buy their music and Ringtones, tell friends about the site. When our artists are successful, we are successful.

Minneapolis band Catchpenny delivers a really good album in the la la la land between modern rock and powerpop. The album sounds like a mixture between Jason Falkner, Switchfoot, Francis Dunnery, Spymob, and Semisonic. GREAT stuff. Best tracks? Well - if you don´t get a vibe of "Can´t Let It Get You Down", "All these questions"and "If You Ever Leave Me" youre probably a deaf man. Brilliant album. -Par Winberg, Melodic.net

Michael – CEO – Michael spends a lot of time talking about how great MusicFreedom is to other people. He also calls and bothers all the other people on staff for his own personal satisfaction. He likes eggo waffles and can bench about 75 lbs, thanks to his Flintstone vitamins he takes each morning. (go to profile)

Jason – CTO – Jason sits in a room all day and writes all the code that makes this place work. He also gets dragged into meetings with the others and explains all the stuff they don’t understand. He likes Starbuck’s Frappucinos and Battlestar Galactica… so don’t bother him on Friday nights. (go to profile)

Alex – CCO – (the second C is for creative) – Alex is the creative guy on the team. He helps w/ site design and provides our internal a&r support. We asked Alex for some likes but he said “If there’s one thing I hate… it’s trying to find something I like” You can find Alex out at the clubs in Orlando most nights of the week, or in front of the TV catching up on CSI & Benny Hill.
