Did I mention I play the drums? I also like movies a whole hell of a lot. The occasional pub night and a lot of live shows to check out are sweet too. I also now feel like travelling is a big part of my life, and I don't feel homesick for wherever I happen to live. It's more like leaving reality and then picking up from where I left off. Music's sweet that way.
YOU! And all of your coolness. And please feel free to stop by and listen to some more tunes I've played on at mymusic page at www.myspace.com/jefftetrault
All time favorite bands/groups: Jamiroquai, Rage Against the Machine, House of Pain, but I love (and have played) Jazz/Big Band Jazz, Punk, Rockabilly, Folk, Ska, Cock Rock, Electronicky Rock, Funk, Country, Afro Cuban/Latin. Noteable bands/artists I've recorded/demoed and/or toured/performed with: Patrick Keenan, The Farrell bros., Dan Frechette, The Brat Attack, Jet Set Satellite, The Afterbeat, Funkafeelya, Blair Cruise, Bobbie Jean, The Grant MacEwan Big Band. The ones I'm proud of that don't exist anymore (for those who remember) One Day September, GIRLS.
I ignore hype and reviews all together and choose pretty much everything that looks good. Even if it has one major flaw (for instance: no plot), I can always outweigh the bad with the good and enjoy almost anything I watch.
It's been a while since I've had cable. Maybe I'm a little out of touch, but it doesn't bother me one bit. I'll keep buying the Simpsons DVD's though.
I'm slowly but surely getting back into reading. Damn tv and music ruined my teenage and twentysomthing years of expanding my brain. Though I recently read two Dan Brown novels (one of I'm sure you can guess), and I finally read my two bios that I've ignored for years.
Jason Kay from Jamiroquai is a freakin' genious, I want Kenny Aronoff's career, but John Bohnam is the man.
