Poor Pluto has been creating original rock music on and off for the past five years with numerous musicians joining and leaving the lineup. Now with five set members the band has grown into a sound that is influenced by everything but sounds like nothing heard before. Mixing elegant violin melodies, with driving rhythms, spacious piano and guitar work, touches of electronica, and lyrics about the ups and downs of life that are simple but make the listener think. Their music is reminiscent of simpler times, intense and then mellow all at once and, like a good fix, leaves the listener wanting more.
