The E.J.G. Band was formed in the winter of 2007. Its members include Steve Bushnell (Lead Guitarist), Brendan Rimetz (Percussion), Ben Adams (Bass) and Eric Gauvin (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar). These four guys together make a dynamic upbeat sound that cannot be denied.Steve and Eric started playing together after Steve responded to an add Eric posted on Myspace. Right away, there musical styles clicked and gelled.They started playing songs that Eric had written; Steve would then create some catchy guitar riffs to go along with the songs. Before long these two guys had enough songs to play a show at the Webster Underground Theater on December 1st, 2007."It’s safe to say that one band not only brings talent but also originality. They call themselves the E.J.G. Band. Think typical College Rock, with a twist of Punk and Classic Rock to create a sound of their own."After that show they became hooked to the stage. They love the energy of the crowd, the thrill of performing, and the rush of doing something they love.Since then they have picked up a talented drummer named Brendan Rimetz. Eric and Brendan meet while working at Highland Park Market together. They talked about music nonstop, so it was only natural for them to jam. Together these three make a sound that will take the music world by storm."Each member of the band contributes a bit of their favorite sub genre of rock and mixes it with the uniqueness the band aims for. A lot of their influence came from Oasis, The Beatles, O.A.R., Fall Out Boy, Jack Johnson and many more."What’s best about this band is that they don’t play music for the money or the fame. They play for the love of the music. When they make music, they look to relate to their fans, share their life experiences, and reach out to the audience.Recently the band cut a four song Demo CD.
