Tweak City/SMOKE

Blessed is he who rocketh the funk!

About Me

Since 1993 the band known as Tweak City/Smoke has been entertaining fans all over the country with their brand of funk-rock&roll. Mike P., the bands front man and lead guitarist, tells us that their philosophy about playing music is that good music talks to the soul, therefore their performances are merely a form of communication. Smoke delivers their performance to fans all over with their one of a kind style that encompasses blues, funk, and rock&roll. Smoke formed in 1993 in Tallahassee, Florida when cousins Mike P., and Lawrence Hilson teamed up musically and decided to form a band. Then with adding good friend Kendra Foster on vocals, Smoke developed in the George Clinton P-Funk camp since'98. During their twelve years in the game, Smoke has performed on shows with such artists as Parliament Funkadelic, Digital Underground, The Notorious B.I.G.,Goodie Mob, Zapp and Con-Funk-Shun. They have also worked in the studio with Jermaine Dupree, Redman and others. Smokes stage show can best be described as a musical journey.
