Beyond the collapse is a young band from the area of Winterthur, playing a mix of Hardcore, Punk and melodic Rock. The band was founded in 2003, in that time named Bealox and particularly playing punkrock and melodic-punk. Bealox played several gigs, mainly in squats, at parties or for example in locations like the Gaswerk in Winterthur or the Lightfire.
Since then, the musical preferences of the band members have constantly been changing and developing. Additionally, the band got stuck in a “creative blind alley” in 2007. That is why a change of the preferred way of playing had to take place and could take place. To meet the new requirements also formally, the band decided to make a new beginning and bring Beyond the Collapse into being.
Recently, the band recorded its first demo at the Hardstudios in Winterthur (www.hardstudios.ch). We are very proud of the result and hope to play as many concerts as possible before Kajo and Grégi gonna leave abroad in May/July for half a year. The demos will be up here soon!

Beyond the Collapse ist eine junge Band aus der Region Winterthur, welche eine Mischung aus Hardcore, Punk und melodiösem Rock spielt. Die Gründung der Band geht auf das Jahr 2003 zurück; damals war die Band aber noch unter dem Namen Bealox bekannt und spielte überwiegend Punkrock/Melodic-Punk. Unter diesem Namen spielte Bealox auch diverse Konzerte in besetzten Häusern, an Parties oder z.B. im Gaswerk in Winterthur am G Plus.
Da sich aber die musikalischen Vorlieben der Mitglieder stets verändert und weiterentwickelt haben und die Band im Jahr 2007 in einer Art Sackgasse angekommen ist, war ein Wechsel in der bevorzugten Spielweise die logische Konsequenz. Um das Cliché der Punkrockband loszuwerden und den eigenen, neuen Ansprüchen auch formell gerecht zu werden, entschied sich die Band schweren Herzens, einen Neuanfang zu machen und Beyond the Collapse ins Leben zu rufen.
Kürzlich konnte Beyond the Collapse ihr erstes Demo in den Hardstudios in Winterthur (www.hardstudios.ch) aufnehmen. Wir sind stolz auf das Ergebnis und hoffen nun, so viele Konzerte wie möglich spielen zu können, bevor Kajo und Grégi (Mai/Juli) für jeweils ein halbes Jahr ins Ausland gehen. Die Demos werden bald hier zu hören sein!
