Synch is a festival born in Athens in 2004, aiming at the creation of an artistic platform gathering the most interesting tendencies of modern culture as well as at the mixing of Greek and foreign audience. Even though the most important unit of the festival is music, Synch creates the ideal platform for other audiovisual forms as well, such as the "moving Image" and other new means, always emphasizing in the creativity and the use of technology.
In 2005, the festival begins its collaboration with the Italian designer, Serena Galdo, aiming at the creation of a high quality line of original products which will also compose festival's merchandise. The result of this collaboration combined with Serena's Galdo designing talent is the line: "Music Machines". It's about a line of bags based on the "transformation" of musical electronic instruments into utilitarian objects of our every day life,Sampler Bag, Bass Bag and Transistor case, are bags that fascinate the eye because of their interesting powerful touch through the photorealistic reproduction of the original objects. Thereby, the line realizes an important transformation of a common accessory such is a bag, into an object-symbol which bounds and keeps alive the festival's philosophy.
