Live music, singing, writing, museums, art galleries, reading, good conversation and great company! I make my own jewellery and wish I had skills at photography. I also really love outdoorsy things like hiking, camping and canoeing, but you wouldn't know it by looking at me! Dancing and quality time with friends also rates up there.
Interesting people!
I love anything that is instrumentally brilliant, that challenges me to think about things, that takes me to that place beyond explaination, and that sounds amazing live!
Charlie Kaufman is a brilliant writer, so Being John Malcovich and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind rate highly. I also love the unique directing style of Tim Burton, and love anything by M. Night Shamaylan. Thankfully, the art of telling a clever story isn't lost in an industry driven to make big $$ no matter the quaility of the art. Fave movies of all time are Shawshank Redemption and Forrest Gump. (Ironically enough, none of those belong to Charlie Kaufman, M.Night or Tim Burton! lol) I'm not a huge fan of romantic movies.
Offbeat comedy like Arrested Development and Lovespring Internationational, Six Feet Under, but I don't like to watch TV too much these days!
I'm nuts for anything historical. Ancient History in particular. Egypt, Rome, Greece, China, Japan, Russia, etc... I want to read more poetry, I just finished some good stuff by Billy Collins (thanks Fed!) Anyone got any suggestions?
Jesus Christ. What He worked, taught and died for still lives on 2000 years later.
