With nearly one-thousand performances under his belt and 22,000 records sold, singer/songwriter Nate Schierman gives audiences a live performance that is passionate, deep, and intense.
The self-taught acoustic/piano/vocalist from the Inland Northwest has released three records since 2003, his first being produced by Don Devore (who’s credits also include Evanescence, Audioslave, Death Cab for Cutie, Chris Cornell, and Pearl Jam). He toured across the country for two years, selling records and changing lives, and gained instant success at colleges and hundreds of radio stations throughout the U.S.
Signed to Dummy Boy Records in March 2007, Schierman’s next album is set for release in early Summer 2007.
Schierman has toured with and shared stages with such names as Dave Matthews Band, Vertical Horizon, Pearl Jam, Tal Bachman, Presidents of the United States of America, and Christian sensation Paul Wright.
An artist deemed “Most Likely to Sell It†by the Spokesman Review, and described as “ambitious, innovative, [and] electrifying†by the Sacramento News and Review, Schierman’s powerful piano ballad, “Desperately Wantingâ€, was featured on NBC’s hit television show, “So You Think You Can Dance?â€
Fans enjoy Schierman because he produces a unique show. His ability to loop “crazy beats†and synthesized sounds on the keyboard, while simultaneously looping sounds from his acoustic guitar, captivate fans of all ages and gender.
“I want to be as different as possible,†says Schierman. “However, everyone is saying the same thing. It’s how you say it that’s different. How you play it. It’s not about the glamour. It’s about that one person at the show that is hungry and thirsty for what can be fulfilled in them by my music… I play deeper, and dig deeper spiritually.â€
Schierman’s ambition and passion collide with an insane natural talent, making the “Schierman Show†one that shouldn’t be missed and will never be forgotten.
