The "official" bio:
Josephine Cameron's lyrical voice and genuine style have been compared to Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Edie Brickell, and The Bangles' Susanna Hoffs. Josephine has gained much local acclaim for her musicianship, and has been featured numerous times on TV and radio shows such as WCLZ's Area Code 207, WMPG's Us Folk, and Harpswell Television's Live from the Sound. Recently, she can be heard singing the "Shine On Me" campaign for Martin's Point Health Care. Josephine has also begun to receive some national attention, receiving the FOSTEX Artist of the Month Award, and two Garageband Awards for her song "Long Night". She just released her third and most ambitious album, Close Your Eyes, a carefully chosen set of lullabies drawing on samba, pop, folk, and gospel influences.
