About Me
Tommy was born in Encino, CA in 1960 and raised in the Boston suburb of Beverly, MA. Tommy was exposed to the music of Hank Williams Sr and Johnny Cash by his father at an early age as well as Herb Albert, Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett by his mother. "When I saw the Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan show, I new that music was in my blood and then, all hell broke loose!" "I inherited my Dad's old Silvertone acoustic guitar after he passed away at a young age. The following ten years I played guitar, took lessons and jammed with a few local bands. One day our bass player didn't show up for practice and his gear was there... I picked up the bass and never went back! I love playing bass and laying down the groove!" Tommy relocated to Seattle in 1982 and joined an original band called Channel 4. He recorded some original songs that received air-play on KZOK's Best of the Northwest. In late '83, Tommy joined Screamer out of San Jose and played the west coast circuit, in '85 Tommy joined Las Vegas band, Nemesis and traveled the west and mid west until the end of '86. It was during these years that Tommy solidified himself as a bassist/vocalist and performer........... In 2002 Tommy joined Mark protus of Warriors Path and co-wrote songs that appear on sound tracks as well as the Indigo Soul CD "Wake Up". Now, Tommy leads the Tommy Wall Band as well as working on other projects.
In Addition, Tommy hosts a successful blues jam every Sunday night at the Raging River Cafe' & Club in Fall City, WA. Tommy is joined every sunday night by drummer, Andrew Cloutier and keyboardist, Steve Thorpe. Together, they provide one of the most solid rhythm sections in the Puget Sound for a slew of special guest guitarist that line up months in advance to perform for a well deserving venue and music fans. Past and present guests include; CD Woodbury, Tim Lerch, Rod Cook, Mark Riley, Tim Turner, T-Boy Neal, Brian Lee, Terri Ann Wilson and Nicole Fournier to name a few...... Tommy brings the groove,energy, sweat and showmanship to every performance.
