About Me

Equilibrium Ablaze is an ambient black metal project started by Tim Slowikowski of Reticulian Overlord (www.lastfm.com/music/Reticulian+Overlord). Abandoning his whimsical cybergrind insanity, he embarked on a new musical project. His music displays the raw intensity of early second wave black metal while incorporating elements of both ambient and folk music. The result is an emotional and powerful display of the vast beauty of nature and the darkness of man's misanthropic core. A demo will soon be released showcasing both his black metal and ambient work. The project was furthered with the involvement of his brother. Brian helped with keyboard programming, clean vocals, and bass. Right now, Equilibrium Ablaze is working on a new album that is going to be comprised of two songs, both being over 30 minutes long.
