About Me

Who is Kuroji Ntu?
...a freelance photographer who fell in love with composition and contrast at a very young age. I've captured well over 50,000 people on film via photo and/or video and continues to do so everyday. I've also taken photos of some of the most talented individuals in the DMV (DC-Maryland-Virginia) focusing my energy on the poetry/music scene and the youth I continue to work for...
I'm also a spokenword artist who speaks from where he's been. Taking what I've seen and bringing truth to light by painting very clear images through my words and delivery. In the past I've shared the stage with the likes of The Last Poets, Sonia Sanchez, 13 of Nazareth, Queen Sheba Talaam Acey, Sonya Renee, Bassey Ipki, "Droopy" Anderson, Sekou the Misfit, and nameless others...

Influences: Life...I am a photographer, who captures life as it happens, my camera reaches places that mere words cannot sometimes describe, me being there to capture those moments, is a blessing in itself, so I keep my eyes moving, my ear to the ground, my cameras loaded and my finger just millimeters from the moment of trapping life onto my film or disc enabling me to share these moments with the world...the first time I did not take a "snap" shot I knew it, it was quite the eye opener at that moment the phrase "everything has its place" truly meant something to me...
