What does the soundtrack to your life sound like?

About Me

I love Pittsburgh, and it has taken years of event planning and promotions for grassroots organizations and businesses to prove my dedication to my community. Easy Street Promotions has survived because I don't want to let it become another female-run business forgotten. I strive to involve Easy Street into music, art, community activism, urban redevlopment, and consciousness raising projects like the Headquarters Gallery space in SouthSide Works (Summer '06), Summer Concert Series in Town Square, CP's Local Motion Fashion Show, Sprout Public Art mural program, and many others.
I am now working alongside CK1 Productions, and independant mutlimedia production company. We do everything from TV commericals, music videos, documentaries, weddings, TV shows, and more! My work includes marketing, writing, voiceovers, jingles, filming, editing, and media buying.

My Interests

Easy Street believes that Pittsburgh's music and art scene is on the brink of a revolution. Throughout US history, you can see the formation of music movements that began as small music communities worked together to put their hometown on the music map. It is our time in Pittsburgh to recognize the immense opportunity that is before us. The country is starting to take notice. Esquire Magazine voted Pittsburgh number 1 for "Cities that Rock" in 2004, and indie and unsigned bands are gaining attention and wider audiences. Easy Street's friends on MySpace represent a vaiety of local talent from crossed genres repesenting a prismatic sampling of local talent. Please stop by MySpace to keep informed on upcoming local shows and events. It is up us to create the networking support necessary to create change and cause a noticable scene.

I'd like to meet:

Local musicians, artists, filmmakers, music lovers, concert goers. Any intelligent soul that loves poetry, art, film, and MUSIC! My spiritual philosophies may lead me to meet others with like minded world views of loving-kindness, compassion, and truth. I enjoy individuals that are not afraid to speak of deep matters, especially when concerned with the earth and each other.

I want this MySpace page to represent Pittsburgh. I will accept some friends from the tri-state area if you are bands, artists, or filmmakers interested in working in Pittsburgh, otherwise I want locals only please. Some amazing national performers and groups have been added, but the bulk of friends listed on this page are in the 412 area code. Let's get connected.
