:: UPCOMING EVENTS ::
Privilége opened its doors this July 7, 2006 as Pittsburgh’s premier night spot. Located in the space formerly occupied by Pittsburgh’s legendary nightclub Rosebud, Privilége is a 10,000 square foot multitiered ultralounge with 22-foot high ceilings including 16-foot tall garage doors that open up to a 720 square foot open-air patio. The contemporary ultralounge is able to accommodate over 1,100 guests at any given time. Privilége offers an abundance of luxurious amenities to its guests, including two full bars which will feature over 150 varieties of the worlds finest spirits, extensive wine and martini lists, VIP bottle service and storage, gourmet tapas prepared nightly until 2 A.M. and custom built indoor and outdoor seating for over 200 guests. The decedent interior design of the ultralounge couples warm organic hardwoods with exposed brick walls, combines crystal chandeliers with state of the art LED’s, merges luscious cherry wood floors with plush carpeting and is all accented by the fusion of cool art deco lamp fixtures and the warmth of soft candle light. Privilége features resident DJ’s nightly, a custom designed Bose sound system and a state of the art Martin light show.
Privilége employs a highly trained bar staff, well versed in the ultralounge’s feature martini list, which is composed of over 50 martinis including various seasonal martinis throughout the year made with the finest domestic and imported liquors. The ultralounge also offers sparkling wines, champagnes and vintage wines from around the world as well as domestic and imported bottled brews and malt beverages. A seasoned wait staff is on hand to serve cocktails and appetizers to Privilége’s guests. Several ultra-chic VIP lounges are available for those patrons wanting to purchase bottle service of fine wines and liquors. VIP liquor storage will be provided for guests who wish for Privilége to retain unfinished bottles until their next visit.
Seating for Privilége was custom built and includes plush upholstered couches and loveseats, sleek leather ottomans, lavish private beds, luxurious oversized ottomans and lush padded wicker chairs on the outdoor patio. Several areas are available for VIP reservations including a section of private beds. VIP seating is also available on Privilége’s 1,000 square foot mezzanine, which overlooks the entire venue, covered in posh carpeting and adorned by elegant crystal chandeliers.
The pulse of Privilége resonates from the glass encased DJ booth, where several regionally popular resident DJ’s nightly pump infectious beats through the ultralounge’s $25,000.00 state of the art computer regulated Bose sound system which provides crystal clear high profile sound on the dance floor and quaint low profile sound in the seating areas, while a separate computer controls Privilége’s $15,000.00 lighting system including automated Martin scanners that sweep brilliant colored beams of light over the ultralounge while LED lighting changes the colors of entire walls and backlights Privilége’s translucent marble bar tops.
Privilége Ultralounge is owned by the Pittsburgh based Executive Nightclub Group and managed by David J. Lander (a.k.a. local veteran nightclub DJ Digital Dave), a Pittsburgh native and a graduate of Central Catholic (1997) and the University Of Pittsburgh (2001).
