The Caroline

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm as calm as a fruit stand in New York
and maybe as strange.

------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------
------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------
MySpace first knew me as Lady Cordelia. I am fey, fluttering between this world and another, between intelligence and idiocy.
My real name is Caroline O'Keefe, for now. Someday I'll probably end up changing my last name... but not for a good while.
For your info: Lady Cordelia is a literary reference to an imaginary character in Anne of Green Gables. Lady-of-Shalott is my OKCupid moniker... another lit allusion to the beautiful but cursed maiden of Alfred Lord Tennyson's popular poem of the same name.
"So, what'll it be Belle, is it 'Yes,' or is it 'Ohhhh yesss!?'" :-)
I AM EXTRAODINARY
I AM JUST YOUR ORDINARY
AVERAGE EVERYDAY SANE PSYCHO
SUPERGODDESS...

Oh... and I have a very big protective dad, who taught me at an early age how to gauge out eyeballs and stomp on them. And I have an army of male friends who are ready and more than willing to lambaste (kiCK the ass of) anyone who messes with me or breaks my heart (though the latter is unlikely.) Just thought I'd let you all know... ;-)

My Interests

I am interested in many many things and people.
In random generality: coffee, theatre, words, snow, clouds, flying, bubbles, guitars, moon and sun, dancing, singing, traveling, art, pillows, books, water, VWs, classic Mustangs, potatoes, animals, music, colours, people, popsicles, movies, rowing, fencing, the ocean, cloves, hippies, long hair, kilts, candles, globes, cemeteries, Scrabble, coffeehouses, rain, men, shooting stars, flowers, fireplaces, day dreams, stuffed animals, pictures, mascara, red red lipstick, smiles, dimes, stars, eyes, clothes, style, Esheep, scenic parks, piercings, bare feet, cathedrals, tall ships, cuddling, scarves..........

A couple people mentioned that I didn't have a list of artists/bands... well! That's because it's really long, and because I doubt anybody really reads this anyways. But since it was asked for, and I'm in the mood, I decided to make one. I'm not even going into all the musicals and theatre artists I love!!! The Movie Of Your Life Is A Cult Classic
Smart, quirky, offbeat, maybe even a little campy - your life appeals to a select few. But if someone's obsessed with you, look out! Your fans can be downright freaky.

Television:

Nada.
I grew up without a tv. I have a strong innate distaste for it. If I watch anything it's probably something like the discovery channel or animal planet. Yes, I'm a dork that way.
I like Street Smarts.

Books:

Oh Yes.
Call me a bookworm, a bibliophile, a lit-geek... so I like to read.
A few of my all-time favorites are Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams), Jane Eyre (Charlotte Bronte), The Perilous Gard (Elizabeth Marie Pope), Beyond Desire (Pierre La Muré), and The Atonement Child (Francine Rivers) but there are many many more.

Heroes:

My Great-Earth-Grandmother
Jane Goodall
