My interests are: Hiking, reading, music (mainly listening since I don't play an instrument) watching movies, watching some television, making and meeting new friends from all over the globe. Picnics in the Smokies, walking in a forest during fall and winter,walking in the rain(I love rain). I enjoy the fresh smells after a good rain, watching it rain is very relaxing and soothing. Going to my neighborhood Starbucks every chance that I get. Coffee tasting, drinking, the occational coffee bean eating(I know, sounds gross), and many other things that come from a coffee shop/cafe. I used to work in a coffee shop. So, hence my love of the bean. Spending time playing with my sweet Maggie(an awesome black poodle)and Bandit(a Norwegian elkhound). I consider them as a Niece and a Nephew. I love dogs, when I was a kid my Brother and I had two poodles(one a female and the other a male)Ginger and Jason. Ginger was black while Jason was considered and apricot color. I also love birds. They are amazing animals and fun to own. I love many different animals. I went to a local pet store and I got to hold a rat(not the sewer type). They are easy to train and are just awesome little creatures.
I'd like to meet:
GOD, HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, Many actor and actresses, since I love music there are a lot of musicians and singers that I would really like to meet. People from all over the world. Places like Ireland, France, Scotland, England, and many other countries. I would love to get to know as many people from places like that.
Music:
Musically I like a little bit of everything. Whatever my mood is that is what I end up listening to. My tastes range from New Wave, 80's, Electronica, Classical, Gospel(all types of gospel), Country, Trance, Opera, the list can and does go on. International music like, French(my favorite), Italian, and others.
Movies:
Anything starring Harrison Ford, Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, Sylvester Stallone, Nicolas Cage, Paul Walker, Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore, Adam Sandler, Anne Hathaway, and the list goes on. My favorite Producer is Jerry Bruckheimer.
Television:
Hands down, Miami Vice!! I have all five seasons on dvd. That show was a trend setter and one that will never die. The many guest stars, the awesome music, that show had it all.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer(I forgot to mention Sarah Michelle Geller), Dancing With The Stars(the only reality show that I like anymore), Ugly Betty(you have to love America Ferrar), all of the CSI's, NCIS, Without A Trace, Cold Case, and many others.
Books:
The Bible, John Grisham, James Patterson, various Christian Arthors, Henry Blackaby, John Piper, T.W. Hunt, Adrian Rogers, and many others.
Heroes:
GOD, JESUS, MY GRANDPARENTS, MY PARENTS, MY BROTHER, MY NEPHEW, MY SISTER-IN-LAW(YEP, SIS, YOU ARE ONE OF THEM), MY PASTOR AND MY ASSISTANT PASTOR, A GREAT MANY FRIENDS(ON HERE AND ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD).
