Zero to None. To some its a cool and catchy name, while to others it means "nothingness," and for some it means, "You start with nothing and end with nothing." So what does Zero to None really mean? Zero to None derives from the saying, "slim to none," which means few, hardly any, slim and/or scarce. In plain english, Zero to None means "few and far between," and that's what Zero to None's music is.
Long Island's Zero to None was formed in the satellite town of Glen Cove (N.Y.) while brothers Ash-kon and Arosh were still attending high school. Before forming Z2N, they played in a few local bands that didn't amount to anything. After playing the local scene for a period of time, and playing music that was hot for a second, cold the next, both brothers decided to start their own band to be a direct assault on the lame and generic music scene that was happening on Long Island. What started as an idea quickly grew as the band progressed forward in their music and musical ideas.
After a few years of playing, the Z2N line up has changed since its original formation buts its purpose and integrity is still intact.
To date Zero to None consists of; Ash-kon (Vocals/Guitar) , ????(Drums) , Arosh (Bass) , and Nick (Guitar) .
