Born in 2005, Tenstrong has been a stalwart contender in the competitive independent music scene since day one. Ryan Lipareli and Dorian Wolff re-forged the group with a fresh lineup in August 2007, with Dorian passing off his guitar duties to focus on his singing. Brandon Gold , Mike Walsh of Portrait of a Promise and Mike Evans now round out the lineup into what many believe is Tenstrong's best incarnation yet.
Ranging from saccharine and mellow to enraged and relentless, Tenstrong’s sound is formed from the hearts of everyone’s favorite modern rock. Now abandoning their late-nineties grunge influences of their first record (“Ways Homeâ€, 2006), the band has broken new ground into an area of music that is completely here, now, and theirs alone. They are currently working on their sophomore release “The Breakthru Tragedy†(independent), and gearing up for months of heavy touring throughout the US in the spring and summer of 2008.
