About Me

Life With An Astronaut was founded by 10 year old Dakota Floeter. Dakota just turned 13 and has already been playing guitar for over eight years. Dakota likes to cover his favorite songs and record them on his computer's garage band program. The cover songs have gotten a lot of attention from as far away as the UK. The NME called Dakota "the world's most talented 11 year old". Dakota played his first live show as Life With An Astronaut at No Future Cafe in Pasadena in August 2005. Most recently Dakota has been playing shows with his friend Cody Nicholls on guitar, and a revolving cast of characters on drums and bass. The songs in the player were recorded entirely by Dakota (playing all instruments) in his bedroom on Garage Band. They were mixed by Shaun Lopez.
