..you need more??? www.katy-karrenbauer.de / When I had been thirteen, I had my own and first Rock Band, but we just rocked the Cellar and no Clubs. At the same Time I was teached to become an Opera and classic Singer as Mezzo Soprano. But my Voice now is much deeper and sounds more like a male Bass. When I was eighteen Years old I started my Actors School and four Years ago I opened my own Theatre in Cologne, which I built together with two Swiss Guys. If I say built, I really mean that. Had been a Cinema before and after it was a beautiful Theatre. I played, I worked as Directors Assistant, I created the Stage, did the Make Up and worked as Costum Designer. Three Years later I went on Tour with a Musical for about half a Year. Directly after I got the main Actors Character as "Titania/Hypollita" in "Fairy Queen" at the biggest Opera House in Germany, started to sing in Musicals, played "Magenta" in "the Rocky Horror Picture Show" or "Robert Ann" in both Parts of "Nunsense" in Germany and the Swiss. In 1993 I recorded my first solo Album, and all the Time I worked on Stage as Actress. I played "Kassandra", "Merlin", "Titania", "Medea","Tucholsky in Rock", "Mertheuil", just to name some of the Characters and I had my own solo Play. 1994 I filmed "Casualties" and got one of the main Parts. Since then I played in many Tv-Series, Tv-Movies and Movies. 1997 my career really started. I got one of the main Characters in "Hinter Gittern" ( Woman in Prison) and played "Christine Walter", better known as "Walter" for ten Years in nearly 430 Episodes. 2001 I wrote the Lyrics for the CD and we got gold Status in only three Weeks. 2002 I put my second solo Album on the marked. In the next Years I was filming, did some reality Shows, I painted, I made lots of Music with different Musicans for very different Projects. So I was two times on Tour with the Band "Silly", 2005 and 2006. 2007 started with filming in Africa, than I walked as "Pilgrim" one of the three holy Ways (Jacobsway) from France above the Pyrenäes till Santiago de Compostella (Spain) and from there till, they call it "The end of the World", and it really feels like that. I did that for a Documentary and walked nearly the whole way with a Camera Crew, more than ten Hours every Day for nearly four Weeks, ups and downs, Hills and Valleys. Directly after I filmed a Comedy "Western" as "Ma", and than I was asked to film a Documentary about California on a Harley. So I came to ride the Bike from L.A. to San Francisco and back on Higway no.1 in Oktober and filmed till November 2007. 2007/2008 I came to CA to finish the Book off, which I am writing on. Short stories for everybody, about me and my long, long Life :o). The Book will be hopefully presentated in Autumn 2008. I take over a main character in a Series with funny Vegetables for Children soon, but "just" as voice! And I will give my Best, to finish my new Album, which will come out much harder than the others, as soon as possible.
