Enexia is a growing Southern California based record label and entertainment firm founded in 2005 by Anthony Pratt. The company operated primarily under the banner of a mortgage firm partnered with another company. Mr. Pratt realized in December of 2006 that his true calling and that for Enexia rested within the entertainment industry. To date the company is being built from the ground up and plans to become the next major record label. Thus far the company has acquired major distribution both in the United States, Europe and Japan. Thus far the staff he has assembled comes to the label from various professions such as; Sales, Management, National Marketing, Music Promotions, former A&R reps with major labels, film, retail stores, creative writing, former musicians, vocal coaching, Human Resources and more.
The staff is being carefully selected and the label has plans to establish its own performing arts facility.
Mr. Pratt is passionate about giving others an opportunity and cultivating the minds of aspiring artists. However he stands behind his belief that ABILITY IS NOTHING WITHOUT EXECUTION.

Anthony was born Jan 31st 1975 in Los Angeles California grew up in a musical family and also in the heart of South Central Los Angeles. Taken in at the infant age of 2 months by his grandparents the young man woke every morning around 5am to sit on a bus for about 2 hours to get to school.
Avoiding gangs, drugs and peer pressure the young man kept himself away from trouble and leaned heavily on the advice of his grandfather “Educate yourself and no one can take that away from you". Anthony attended school in the San Fernando Valley and enjoyed the difference of environment from his familiar area and also making life long friends.
Life was great while attending school in the San Fernando Valley however as his bus ride would inch closer to home the harsh reminder of the on going threat would become apparent. Due to circumstances out of his control; where he resided, family feuds (gang wise), drug dealers, drive by shootings and out of fear of retaliation there were times Anthony would have to exit the school bus running. Anthony jokes how running 14 blocks 5 times per week would work you into amazing shape.
Growing up Anthony had the opportunity to be exposed to various musical styles ranging from Jazz all the way down to soulful music. His grandfathers both played and toured professionally in a jazz band in New Orleans, his grandmother lead a choir in church, his father Paul singing professionally and his aunt was breaking in originally with Paramount.
The elder Pratt, Paul Sr. and his group JETSET began to make a name for themselves in Los Angeles making numerous appearances on the old GONG SHOW and winning. The group was later offered a record deal with a major recording label only to have it snatched after Paul slipped deep into drugs.
His Aunt Cassandra continued on in the industry with Paramount and later landing with Capitol records. She also began to comprise a list of known contacts and personal friends such as: Wesley Snipes, Blair Underwood and Shamer Moore to name a few.
Watching his aunt and father pursue a career in the entertainment industry inspired Anthony to try his hand at it also. His first chance came about during a middle recording at the old "WIN, LOSE OR DRAW" show hosted by Vicki Lawrence. During the taping of the show it was announced that a talent contest was being held and there were open auditions. Not shy the young Anthony leaped out of his chair and onto the stage. When it was his turn to showcase he performed an original rap song which later won him first place.
Anthony's entertainment career was just getting started he would later host his own radio show with American Radio Network in Hollywood California, under the name TONY GRUNGE.
Also a huge soap 0prah fan he used to sit and aspire to be on the old show "Another World". His opportunity finally came knocking when THE BEVERLY HILLS STUDIOS announced in the L.A Times that they were holding an open call during an upcoming weekend.
Young Anthony made his way to Universal City along with his grandfather and checked in at 8am that morning. The contest carried on all through out the day and he finally had his opportunity around 5pm that afternoon to be the 380th person to walk on stage and showcase in front of a large panel of judges. Anthony's personality caught the attention of former model John Phillipson. A few days went by after the competition and a call finally came through, it was John calling to let Anthony's family know that he was chosen as their top 16 out of 400 contestants for Beverly Hills Studios.
Mr. Pratt began to take cold reading classes, professional head shots and was excited to have been given the opportunity. However learning about his grandfather contracting cancer he cut his pursuit short to attend to him. The elder Pratt later would lose his battle with cancer.
Anthony went to college in Alaska and would also serve an extensive time in the United States Military (ARMY) also being called for duty during the 9/11 incident.
After his military career was over Mr. Pratt picked back up in the Investment and Mortgage Profession. He quickly Became one of the Top Loan Officers in his broker firm. Mr. Pratt's past professional background in Investments,Mortgage,Banking,High End Collections, Skip Tracing, Business To Business Sales, Loan Officer Trainer,Auditing,Compliance Laws have all properly prepared him for his new venture with Enexia Records.
