Taye Tags "The Young Phenom"

Taye T.a.g.s. a.k.a. "Lil Beast" a.k.a “The Young Phenom” known as one of the hottest up and coming artists in the midwest. When asked what the acronym means, he simply answers, “The Almighty God of Spit.” Some draw comparisons to a young Rakim or Nas in respect to subject matter and wordplay. He delivers his rhymes from an array of different musical directoions i.e. "Gotta Stay Focused", "Beatin' Down Ya Block", "B**ch I'm So Cold", etc. Acting as his own producer he also arranged music produced by Ken "Hitmaker" Hollins on "Come On Over" and "Make My Move." He sees himself as the musical and lyrical future of hip-hop in Cleveland and the midwest as a whole. He currently has an album in the works and his label, which he is co-CEO of, is looking at a late fall/early winter release, be on the look out for updates.
