SERAIAH SYSTEMS BIO: As a Performing and Recording Artist, Seraiah excels in many areas and whose talents encompass a broad range of styles in excellence and improvisation. -DJ/TURNTABLIST AND EVENT PROMOTIONS: Mixing for Ten years and Scratching for Six, he has Published his demo mix-release, Shadow of the Soul. Through Event Production and club appearances, Seraiah has blessed to performed his scratching skills LIVE with HIP HOP Legend KRS ONE (NYC - BDP), as well as share the stage with and worked with the likes of DJ CRAZE (MIAMI - 6X WORLD DMC CHAMPION), DIESLEBOY w/ MC ARMANI (PHILLY), DJ MICRO (NYC), DAVE AUDE (LA), LYRICS BORN (BAY AREA/CA), GHOSTFACE KILLAH (WU TANG CLAN), DRC (SAN FRAN), DOM AND ROLAND AND TECH ITCH (UK), DARA AND DB (NYCBREAKBEAT SCIENCE), STAKKA AND SKYNET (UK), KAZELLE (LA), and MASTER FUOL (MTVS LYRICIST LOUNGE) just to name a few. He is currently performing with elite Emcee APOSTLE (Jeff Cambell), Executive Director of the Non-Profit Organization known as The Colorado Hip Hop Coalition. Seraiah also performs consistently with an underground conscious Hip Hop Group "EDUCATED FIGURES" with Emcees JERICHO (Son of None) and X-PERIMENT, who's focus is spiritual warfare and fighting the good fight. -PROFESSIONAL SCRATCH/TURNTABLIST INSTURCTOR: As a Private Contractor, he began teaching for the DJ Academy (Denver), one of seven in the United States. He then instructed the Tablist Arts for Jeff Cambell (APOSTLE) at The Colorado Hip Hop Coalition, which is a Non-Profit Agency designed to help At-Risk Youth by uniting the Community and enhancing the Four Elements of Hip Hop Culture (DJ, EMCEE, GRAFITTI AND B-BOY). Teaching group and private tutorials about technical breakdowns of Scratch Composition he is opening the eyes of youth to the very hard to learn turntablist art-form. He has also begun teaching students how to use the Interactive Digital/Vinyl Interface SERATO LIVE SCRATCH from RANE CORPORATION. By educating youth and professional musicians about the new revolutionary SERATO/RANE mixing interface Seraiah is constantly evolving his own awareness of technology and expanding his knowledge base and love for music and education. -SPOKEN WORD POET/VOCALIST/SONG WRITER: Open-Mic Performer and in the process of Printing and Publishing his first book exploring the topics of Love, Spiritual Warfare, God and Life. A full length Spoken Word CD is in the process. -PERCUSSIONIST: Playing for over 15 years, hes a well versed musician. From Full-Set to Hand Percussion his rhythmic minds works overtime playing in Live Bands as well as Studio Accompaniment. Using drumming and scratching techniques he has an ever changing style. -DIDGERIDOO: With roots in Native Music its not a surprise when he picked up this instrument for the first time and began playing it. Within one years time, toning and circular breathing have been attained with more ancient patterns to be conveyed. -PRODUCTION AND ENGINEERING: Seraiah is in the process of learning production techniques and philosophies from some very talented up and coming producers. An unorthodox style of Breakbeat, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass and Down Tempo is on the horizon. Working closely with Emcees and Spoken Word Poets his collaboration efforts will be well worth the wait. With Album releases and singles on the way be prepared for a new style of scratch composition and intellectually thought provoking production with meditative properties where the listener transcends to higher states of consciousness all the while becoming one with the music.
