Locals Only Radio (L.O.R) is a program that originated on George Mason University’s WGMU campus radio station and worked it’s way to becoming a leading entity in the local music scene.

With the announcement of it's possible early 2008 launch on WJFK 106.7, the local music scene, comprised of bands, music companies, venues and fans, have begun to inundate program contacts with ways to be involved. With the obvious listener support of WJFK and the support base in the tens of thousands for Locals Only Radio, this will be a lethal combination for the local music scene as it extends out to 4 states. Wes Neidig, George Dibble and Derek Mohler have been stimulating the local music scene in the greater Washington DC/Baltimore area with live shows, events and productions for over 5 years. These events range from weekly events drawing hundreds (Locals Only Live) to 4 days events that assemble thousands (Throwdown 2006 and 2007).
