The Bible! And the Archeological study Bible. That is by far my favorite. But some other really good ones are The Sacred Romance by John Elderidge and Brent Curtis, Wild at Heart and Captivating, both by John Elderidge and his wife Stasi......I recommend these to everyone (pretty much any book that they write is amazing)! I have just finished the Case for Christ by Lee Strobel, his Case for Faith book, and just started his Case for a Creator. i think any Christian in a secular college needs to read them! The Grand Weaver and Walking from East to West by Ravi Zacharias are excellent. The Heart is A Lonely Hunter by Carson McCuller is pretty good, havent finished it yet. So is How the Scots Invented the Modern World by Arthur Herman. Rosencrantz and Guildenstein are Dead, Hamlet, Candide by Voltaire, For whom the Bell Tolls by Hemingway, and Walden by Thoreau; The Stranger and Pride and Prejudice are really good, along with The Importance of Being Earnest and Waiting for Godot; I also loved The Razor's Edge and i want to read The Bell Jar, a very disturbing book so I am told; Of Mice and Men, The Invisible Man, Frankenstein, The Phantom of the Opera, Japanese Manga, Aristotle's Poetics, lots and lots of poetry :P, um....Jude the Obscure, Life on Purpose, anything having to do with the Romans or other history books, Don Quioxote (for a laugh), My Side of the Mountain, The Chosen, Intruder in the Dust, The Laura Ingalls Wilder series, and lots more but I can't put them all here.
