I would like to first give honor to God who is head over my life, to my Beloved Grandmother: Rev. Dr. Ardell E. Tucker which is the Overseer of Mt. Calvary Deliverance Tabernacle Church Inc. To My Mother (Ms. Carolyn Jones, My Sister Jamila(The Stylist) & My Brother Vernon Sr. (The Wisdom Man). As directed by the Spirit of God, in the year of 1986 it was destined by The Lord God, for this chosen vessel to be birthed into the world. To proclaim the word of Jesus Christ to his people. Elder Stephen P. Jones was born to the presence of Ms. Carolyn Jones, and Mr. Peter Hines Sr. He is the last of three children that were born before him. Elder Vernon Melton Sr., Sis. Jamila Jones and then His-self.Elder Jones is a person that doesn’t mind praising and lifting the name of Jesus. Before becoming a preacher of the gospel, Stephen has played the organ, the drums, and also and still is a Praise and Worship Leader & Choir Member. He lets people from all around that “Praise Is What He Does†and he does just that. Over the years God has blessed him extremely, and tremendously with youth and young adults, to follow him while he follows Christ.. In 2004 He became the Vice -President Of "Expect A Miracle Youth Community Choir", Which was under the Leadership and Direction of his niece Sis. Cynthia Howard,President Of "Voice Of Calvary Choir.In The Year of 2005, Stephen was ordained as a minister of the Gospel, and has been preaching and proclaiming the word of the lord ever since, Stephen is also a person that loves to worship the lord, anytime, anywhere. Elder Jones is one that loves the youth and has a passion for the youth ministry not just in the church, but all over. He Is a person that reached out to the youth of today, for we know, in this day in time, our youth is out in the streets, getting killed, going to jail, etc. And So He came to realize that he's not preaching to the saints now, He's going to be preaching to the sinners so they can make there way to knowing who Jesus Is. and how to accept him into your life. For the bible says to come out from among them and be ye separated. He loves children of all ages as of today, Stephen has adopted over 10 children of youth and also young adults as his God-Children, Niece's, Nephews, Brother's & Sisters, and is still going on today.We Know all things work together for the good of them who love the Lord. It’s Time Out for Playing Games. It’s Time For God's Chosen Generation to step up and step out on faith. He is President and Vice President over two youth choirs in the community. And is also a mentor outside of the church at his local schools, community centers, homes, etc. And has been apointed as the National State Head Adjutant, State Minister Of Music.He is certified in Business Administration & Management. Stephen has two beautiful God-Children that he considers his own, which go by the name Tanajia & Josiah, which are his heart, and soul, that he loves dearly. Along with others that he has adopted as his God-children as well.
On October 20th in the of our Lord 2007, Elder Stephen Jones was installed & elevated into the office of Elder. He Currently attends Anchor Of Hope Prophetic Deliverance Fellowship Assemblies Inc. Under the leadership of His Spiritual Mother & Father Pastor Alonztrae & Elect-Lady Larissa Yancey. As well his spiritual Grandfather/Father Presiding Prelate Chief Apostle John J. Parsons Jr. which is the leader of Praise, Healing, & Deliverance Fellowship Assemblies Inc & Presiding Prelate over The Deliverance Fellowship Assemblies International Covenant Of Churches Inc.While Being with the Pastor & Chief Apostle, He has become The Head State Adjutant Of Connecticut,State Minister Of Music, Public Relations Liason,Assistant To The Church Chief Administrator,and National General Secretary Of The Deliverance Fellowship Assemblies International Covenant Of Churches Inc.In The Music Ministry::::::::With the help of the Lord, he has learned in the spiritual & natural that Music is his apart of his life, and is his ministry. For the past couple of years he has been praying and fasting & concecrating before the lord, on further instructions in doing his will, and so he has put music in his heart to become one with not only music, but have a intimate relationship with GOD while playing under the holyghost. "I have considered myself a worshipper when it comes to using the gift that God has gave me, and that is playing in song, but when all is said and done, I have to give God My Best Praise. I live and Stand On God's Word when it says make a joyful noise unto the lord & praise him on the stringed instruments and organs, the high sounding symbols, etc... and this is what I do. My prayer to God is when ever I step in front of either a keyboard or organ, and sit at that sacred instrument, I make a vow to the lord, just letting him know I'm not doing this for no form or fashion, or to see who can out play who, or seeing who's the best at playing. I am doing this for the kingdom. Music to me is kingdom work. I play what ever the lord gives me to play when the time comes. If I can't reach lost souls one way, I can reach those through playing the keyboard, or playing the organ, to let them know that God can do anything but fail, if he can save me, heal me, deliver me, what makes you think he can't do the same for you. And this is what I do. Muzik Iz My Ministry." He has inspired many youth along with his nephew "Jr. DEACON CHIRS" as his right hand man. They have inspired so many young people to play either the drums or the keyboard. They both always say " Playing Is Not Easy, You Have To Go Through Something To Get To Where You Need To Be. Our Parents Were and Still Are Hard On Us, And That Is Why We are Where We Are Today". Music To Me Is Not Just Something You Hear On The Radio, or something you hearand feel like bumping to, Music to me is something that connects to you, something that you may have in common with. As for myself, I like contemporary music, but i was raised up on traditional gospel, back down south gospel when we had no music but our hands and our feet, and maybe a washboard (lol) and everyone was on one accord. and had a very unique sound and the holy ghost filled the room. like we had music. I was raised up listening & hearing. the very unique sound of Traditional Gospel Music. And He Can Truly Say Music Is His Ministry
